Position Summary

Chip Shots is looking for a dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Part-Time Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality menu items, maintaining food safety standards, and helping create a great dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and thrives as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients and supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, prep areas, and equipment
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and timely ticket completion
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to kitchen leadership
  • Assist with food prep, receiving deliveries, and storing products properly
  • Work collaboratively with front-of-house and kitchen team members
  • Support special events, tournaments, and busy service periods as needed
  • Perform opening, closing, and cleaning duties

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Schedule

  • Part-time hours (15–30 hours per week)
