Graphic Designer
General Description
The Graphic Designer position is
responsible for all design and art for both printed and digital media at Grace
Chapel. This position is a full time role with an estimated work
week of 40 hours. The schedule of hours
will be set by the Communications Manager and may vary based upon the needs and
ongoing events of the department.
Essential Job
Functions
- Create
graphics for both printed and digital media, including but not limited to
bulletins, slides, posters, sermon themes, video thumbnails, interior and
exterior directional signage, album art, logo design, etc.
- Editing
photos
- Work
with the Communications Manager to create graphics for social media
- Coordinate
with and send art to outside agencies, printers, etc.
- Effectively
communicate with Grace Chapel ministries about projects and needs
- Exhibit the ability to manage
multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while
keeping a keen attention to detail
- Responsible
for working with the Communications Manager to create the weekly Sunday
morning announcement loop
- Other
duties and responsibilities as assigned the Communications Manager
Skills/Qualifications:

Expertise
in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are
required.

Must
demonstrate flexibility in dealing with high pressure situations and last-minute
requests
·
Pays
close attention to detail and is deadline-oriented
·
Ability
to handle client’s rejection of proposed ideas/concepts and flexibility to make
changes upon request
