FOREIGN LANGUAGE INSTRUCTOR

Foreign Language Instructor

About the Role

The Willow Oaks Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Foreign Language Instructor to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to teach the Spanish portions of our curriculum. You will float around speaking to the children in Spanish, engaging them in planned activities that enhance their language skills and cultural awareness. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with children and has a strong background in foreign language instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach the Spanish portions of the curriculum to children.

• Engage with children by floating around and speaking to them in Spanish.

• Conduct planned activities with the children in Spanish to foster language development and cultural understanding.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma.

• Must pass a criminal background check.

• At least 18 years of age.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in foreign language instruction for children.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field.

• Teaching certification or credential in foreign language instruction.

• Experience developing and implementing language curriculum for young children.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

• Familiarity with immersion-based teaching methods
