ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
About the Role
As a vital member of our team, the role of Assistant Director is integral to the smooth and effective operation of our organization. You will assist the Director in conducting daily and weekly tasks, including reviewing staff performance, implementing training programs, giving tours, monitoring children's schedules, observing classroom management, and overseeing curriculum implementation. Additionally, you will support daily and weekly activities such as recruitment efforts, record keeping, cleaning, and managing program events and calendars. Key Responsibilities
Conducting guided tours
Supervising children’s daily schedules
Overseeing classroom management
Supporting recruitment initiatives
Maintaining accurate records
Ensuring cleanliness and order
Coordinating program events and managing calendars
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum age of 21 years
Must be a level 3 or 4 Director in the State of NC
Training in early childhood education from an accredited school.
Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with at least twelve credit hours in early childhood education.
Eligibility to work with children in the state of North Carolina based on a criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications
Possess the North Carolina Early Childhood Administration Credential or its equivalent as determined by the Department of Health and Human Services.
2+ years of supervisory experience.
2+ years of experience in childcare and child development.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and integrate various components of childcare programs.
