- Models
the agency’s mission statement in all interactions with Stephen Center
clients.
- Provides
awake, direct supervision and support of people in the HERO Substance
Use Treatment Program.
- Builds
rapport with HERO clients in order to support recovery process.
- Monitor
residential facilities for safety.
- Providing
monitoring of client’s behaviors and redirection for clients as needed.
- Help
program participants with recovery skills; holding them accountable.
- Provide
emergency crisis counseling, problem-solving, and de-escalation
strategies to clients and staff.
- Assist
in supervision of self-administered medications.
- Maintains
situational awareness of conditions within HERO environments,
implementing de-escalation techniques as quickly as possible when issues
arise.
- Manage
crisis situations as they occur. Assist in
emergency situations such as medical emergency, weather emergency,
security, and fire emergency.
- Contact
and coordinate emergency personnel when necessary.

Accurately monitors and
reports activities of individuals in an effort to provide feedback to staff. Generate
incident reports as necessary. Document incidents using appropriate forms and
emailing appropriate personnel. Completes reports by recording observations,
information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Answer
client and agency questions. Answer phone line at all times, returning
any messages immediately. Provide empathetic and compassionate
assistance over the phone.
- Performs
janitorial tasks as needed, including laundry processing, trash removal,
minimal disinfecting/cleaning.
- Secures
premises and personnel through room checks; inspecting buildings, and
access points; permitting entry/exits. Ensures operation of equipment/cameras
and reports any issues to Maintenance. (i.e. camera malfunctions, camera
outages, software malfunctions).

Conducts initial safety
inspection of individuals and their property upon admission to the facility.
- Participates
and contributes in education/training activities and staff meetings, as
schedule allows.
- Contributes
to team effort by accomplishing other duties as assigned.
Pay $17/ hour Saturday & Sunday 10:00 pm- 6:30 am
